Visiting any church for the very first time can make anyone a little nervous. Where do I go? What do I wear? What time do I show up? What's here for my chidren? What can I expect? These and many more questions can come to your mind. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Streams of Power Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home!" Here are a few answers to your questions about what you might expect on your first visit.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code at Streams of Power Church for members or guests. Our pastor and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress. However, a specific attire is not required, and our members wear a variety of styles of clothing. We think it makes sense to wear nice, clean, modest clothing to church. You will not feel out of place.

What are your services like?

Our services are what is commonly called “traditional.” The worship music primarily is great hymns of the faith, modern praise and worship  as well as some choruses mixed at times with the flavor of the Caribbean. We do have special music from members of the congregation on occasion. The focus of all of our meetings is the Word of God. Generally, we will have song service, prayer, receiving of tithes and free will offering in accordance to Mal:3:10 , and then a message from the Bible.

Do visitors have to stand up and say anything?

No, you sure don’t, but on occasions we may ask if you will like to be recognized as a first time visitor. We will give you a connection card and ask you to drop it in the offering plate so we can have a record of your visit.

If there's something we missed on this list, just give us a call, or

locate one of our greeters or ushers and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors and assisting with parking. They'll show you where everything is. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.

Be sure to hang around after the service. You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and his wife and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
